“How can I say thanks for the things You have done for me? Things so undeserved, Yet you gave to prove Your love for me; The voices of a million angels could not express my gratitude. All that I am, and ever hope to be, I owe it all to You.”*

I am holding in my hands one of those things for which I can’t express my gratitude – a thing so undeserved, but granted by a loving Heavenly Father. I received in the mail today a copy of Inspired by Tozer recently released by Regal. The list of contributors to this is impressive which is why it’s even more amazing to find my name tucked in among them. “To God be the glory for the things He has done.” And that’s the answer right there. This is something that He has done, and so, something for which He alone should receive the glory.

What a privilege to be a part of this project. The heart’s desire of the editor has been to take the words of this man of God, A. W. Tozer, and allow them to be heard by a new generation. Tozer’s impact has been great because his relationship with the Lord was deep and intimate. It was out of that relationship that he used his gift of words to challenge us, convict us, and cause us to hunger after a deeper relationship with the God Tozer adored. This book is a compilation of the writings of various authors in response to quotes by Tozer. It’s now available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and most Christian bookstores. My prayer is that God Himself will speak through Tozer’s words and the words of each writer.

The song I quoted above continues with words that are my earnest prayer: “Just let me live my life-Let it be pleasing, Lord, to Thee; And if I gain any praise, Let it go to Calvary.” So join me in rejoicing in God’s goodness and in giving Him the deserved praise and glory!

“To God be the glory for the things He has done!”*
